The location, the food, the view, all absolutely amazing! We arrived at a very picturesque time: Friday night just before sunset, seated on the balcony. Our server was incredible, she definitely had a full house to serve but made sure to check in on us periodically as well as chat a bit (my cousin is a regular at Catania and knows this server) so it was nice to have open communication and service from her.
We ordered the Sicilian pistachio pizza to share between two of us, it was big enough to fill us up and also have a slice left to take home! Pesto and pistachio are two of my favorites, so the flavor combination of the two made my tastebuds super happy. Very nice to taste the fresh basil as well! The pork added a nice savory element - very nice choice for dinner!
For dessert we split the Nutella semifreddo. Best I can describe it is a (not too sweet!) Nutella ice cream on top of a nut crust with olive oil and balsamic drizzled over. At first the mix of oil and vinegar on top of ice cream kind of threw me off however it was so freaking good. It was a light dessert, perfect to top off the wood fire pizza!
The sunset and ocean views just added to the experience at Catania, would love to come back soon! -

Had an excellent meal at Catania tonight. The food and ambiance were incredible, but it was the service that stole the show. Our server, Kristen, was awesome. Excellent recommendations and food timing.
Had the crudo, tartare, arancini, lamb meatballs, focaccia, octopus and panna cotta. Crudo was good - everything else was amazing. Maybe the best tartare we've ever had. Can't speak highly enough of the whole experience. Will be back. -

One Word! Yum!!!
Ordered the meat pizza! Tons of flavor which I knew it would have! Crust is delicious too!!! My server was incredibly helpful in describing which dish had what flavors, how it was prepared, what was delectable and rich and creamy and what was light and just satisfying! Her name is Torie...short for Victoria I also ordered the butternut squash ravioli...omg.. the flavors. She was so right! It was perfect! Needless to say, my husband and I will come back and order the mushroom pizza, cauliflower and the duck dish...and maybe the smoked duck pate... I mean this place has nice flavors and nice ambiance... -

This place has a good view of the ocean. A bit $$$$ but worth it for their food&drinks. I would definitely come here again on a sunny summer days!
